Welcome day
The Welcome day is an event held in order to introduce the PhD in Experimental Medicine and Therapy to the new PhD students. The participation in the event is compulsory for all PhD students of all active cycles.
It is a meeting, usually organized at the beginning of December, in which Italian and foreign scholars and high-profile experts, generally coming from the academic world and the research institutions, hold lessons and seminars.
PhDs are invited to share the experiences gathered during the PhD course: their expectations, challenges, achievements and their entry into the working world. Two PhD students attending the final year of the course are asked to present the preliminary results of the research related to their doctoral thesis.
During lunch, new PhD students can meet colleagues with whom they will be able to talk and ask their questions about organization and functioning of the course.
