Dr. Philip Clifford is Professor of Kinesiology and Nutrition at the University of Illinois at Chicago. His research efforts have been aimed at elucidating the physiological mechanisms regulating skeletal muscle blood flow during exercise. He is a fellow of the American Heart Association, the American College of Sports Medicine, and the American Physiological Society and on the editorial board of three journals: Journal of Applied Physiology, Exercise and Sports Sciences Reviews, Frontiers in Exercise Physiology.
